ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్ అన్న పేరుతో ఉన్న ఫేస్ బుక్ ఎకౌంట్ లో ఈ ఫొటో లబ్యమయింది. భారత దేశంలో తాగు నీరు సమస్య కళ్లకు కట్టినట్లు ప్రతిబింబిస్తున్న ఈ ఫొటో తీసిన ఫొటో గ్రాఫర్ ని అభినందించకుండా ఎవరైనా ఉండగలరా? ఫొటోగ్రఫీ కళతో ప్రజల సమస్యలను ఎంత శక్తివంతంగా చెప్పవచ్చో ఈ ఫోటో తెలుపుతోంది. కళలన్నవి ప్రజలకు ఉపయోగపెట్టాలన్న స్పృహ ఉన్నపుడు కళలతో అద్భుతాలు సాధించవచ్చు.

I am not saying there is no water problem in rest of India.
If water shed is managed properly, we can over come water problem most of India (except few places) in 5-10 years.
Unfortunately there is no will to solve this problem in Govt., Bureaucracy, or people.
There are many reasons for water problem in India. If you want to define the problem in few words.
1) Corruption, mismanagement, Corruption
2) Loss of Forests, Land Grab, Destruction of Lakes, Streams, Kuntalu (big and small)
3) Lack of awareness that there is severe water problem and how it can be resolved
4)
This is one of the fundamental issue (facing by humanity and animal kingdom and plant kingdom) henceforth in India in particular and all over the world in general.
It can be resolved if there is will.
చలం గారూ, భారత దేశంలో నీటి సమస్య మానవ నిర్మితమే. సందేహం లేదు. సముద్రపు నీటితో లిబియా ప్రజల దాహం తీర్చిన గడ్డాఫీ కి ఉన్న నిబద్ధత పాలకులకు ఉన్నట్లయితే ఏ దేశంలోనైనా నీటి సమస్య లేకుండా చేయవచ్చు.
ప్రభుత్వం, దానిలో భాగమైన బ్యూరోక్రసీ లకు విల్ పవర్ లేదనడం నిజమే. కాని ప్రజలకి విల్ పవర్ వల్ల సాధించేదేమీ ఉండదు. దేశంలోని వనరులన్నీ ప్రభుత్వాల నియంత్రణలో ఉన్నపుడు ప్రజల విల్ పవర్ ఏం చేస్తుంది. కనుక ప్రజలను తప్పు పట్టడానికేమీ లేదు.
ఇంతకీ ఫొటో ఎడారిలోదేనా?
You have to tell that. ఇంతకి ఎక్కడి నుండి తీసుకున్నారు?
వాళ్ళు కట్టుకున్న డ్రెస్ చూస్తే, అది రాజస్తాన్ కాని, గుజరాత్ కాని అయి ఉండాలి.
ఎది ఎమైనా ఈ నీటి సమస్య ఆడవారికి ఒక రకమైన శిక్ష లాంటిది.
ప్రజల చేతులలొ ఎమిలేదు అనేదానితొ నేను ఎకీభవించడము లేదు. ఎందుకంటే, అనాదిగా (throught the Ages) it was the people at village level created, maintained and managed water sources (lakes, kuntalu, etc). Only large projects were planned, created and managed by ruling class and Bureaucracy.
Here I am giving you the historical outline (for hundreds of years).
Water shortage in India is the recent phenomena. It is the direct result of destruction of traditional sources (storage) of water, e.g small lakes, kuntalu, etc. I agree that the water usage increased several 100% of times dure to population growth and Industrial usage.
